Jeremiah 50:6-7

 

 ⁶ “My people have been lost sheep;
   their shepherds have led them astray
   and caused them to roam on the mountains.
They wandered over mountain and hill
   and forgot their own resting place.
⁷ Whoever found them devoured them;
   their enemies said, ‘We are not guilty,
for they sinned against the LORD, their true pasture,
   the LORD, the hope of their fathers.’

We Are Not Guilty

 

its in their nature.

evil cant help it.

it devours you.

 

 

Their True Pasture

 

our true bread and life should be Jesus.

the center.

the every reason.

 

 

Led Them Astray

 

caused them to roam on the mountains.

i think this speaks of leadership.

we are all leaders.

are we setting examples?

or are we causing people to stray away from God?

responsibility.

is our duty.

ignorance.

therefore, will also be our fault.

Why Love?

Do You Love Me?

 

why would anyone love me?

what traits do i have that people like?

is it my good nature?

or cuz i’m sooooo liang zai?

do people see me as a wise person?

are you attracted by my “leadership” qualities?

 

“why do you love her?”

must there be a reason?

you know, for me, this kind of question is really a trick question.

i like people because i like them.

i (usually) don’t judge people by personality.

and besides, people change.

u know, everyone changes, but im not (usually) the type who would “dislike him/her anymore” just because they have changed

 

i would rather someone like me because i am who i am.

it used to be like that for me.

i used to be just a joker with no redeeming qualities during my early teen years.

yet my classmates and churchmates still loved to hang with me.

why?

i cant think of ANY reason why.

they just did.

and i loved that about them.

 

i think thats how love works.

its not the “reasons” that makes a person lovable.

its the love that makes a person lovable.

i would rather have a girl fall in love with me not having a clue why she did.

yet she did.

 

okay lets take a step back and look at a bigger picture.

remember that we learn that Love is God and God is Love.

so lets apply it to God’s case.

WHY does God love us?

hmmm.

we’re horrible,

we stink,

and we suck,

to be honestly conclusive.

still, He gives us mercy and grace over and over again.

He still wants us to experience HIS love.

and He still wants the best for us.

wahhhhhhlauweh.

 

i hope my future wife can love me like that.

=p
